After a few weeks of getting things in order and some last minute rushes this week. We got up early and began assembling the boat this time with mast, sail, rudder and leeboard. It was time for the trail runs in preparation for the big 5 1/2 day RKAS trio 225th New Brunswick Day Trip. Now that they are complete we have a few minor tweaks and a safety outrigger to finish up and we'll be ready to go in a week and half for our New Brunswick Day Weekend Voyage "Sperm Reduxit: Honoring New Brunswick's 22th Anniversary"

RKAS (Royal Kennebecasis Adventure Society) began construction on this ship, christened "Hell or High Water" in February of 2009 and on June 20th 2009 she was launched with all 5 members who helped in her construction and assembly. Using local talents (ourselves) local materials we scrounged up or found and the video itself set to some fine local free music.
